Technician
e-Commerce Company e-Commerce Company Inwood, NY Inwood, NY Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour Working at our warehouse in Inwood, the Service Technician conducts quality inspection of the returned merchandise determining the physical quality and the usability of the returned product(s).
This person may also repackage and re-label merchandise.
Updates systems with appropriate data (product, SKU, quality, etc.
).
Must adhere to all warehouse safety standards at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Process returned merchandise.
Do physical checking and servicing of watches and audio/video electronics.
Do physical checking and servicing of computers.
Using a computer, will update systems with appropriate data.
Understand return to stock physical and cosmetic requirements.
Make judgment calls on what constitutes 'new' and acceptable.
Complete all computerized documentation efficiently and diligently.
Adhere to standards that meet customer and company quality requirements.
Provide basic support to Operations and Customer Experiences teams.
Work independently, efficiently, and professionally at all times.

Have punctual, consistent and regular attendance.
Your skills, experience and ability should include:
A high school diploma or equivalent Technical degree or certification in electronic or computer repairs.
Able to lift and carry boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack when necessary.
Able to stand, bend and lift for up to eight or more hours daily.
Manual dexterity of hands to properly prepare items for putaway, transfer or reship to customers.
Proficient in analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving Knowledge of inventory management systems a plus.
Proficient use of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Computer proficiency.
Ability to plan and organize work activity to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
