Nurse Manager - Critical Care (CCU / ICU)

A New York City-based healthcare network is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Queen as their new Nurse Manager - Critical Care (CCU / ICU).
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager - Critical Care (CCU / ICU) will:
Maintain shift accountability for the coordination and facilitation of the delivery of quality patient care on their unit Encourage staff to achieve high performance standards through education and role modeling Participate case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to patients and their significant others Resolve conflicts on the Patient Care Unit and uses established conflict resolution techniques to steer and direct care team members towards an amicable solution Direct staff in Performance Improvement activities that improve patient outcomes, patient satisfaction and enhances organizational efficiency Work directly with the Patient Care team in identifying and solving patient problems/complaints Relay patient information to doctors and communicate with other health team members about a patient's care Provide information about care and treatment to patients and families Assess and evaluate staff competency Assist with ensuring adequate labor coverage Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
3
years of experience in Critical Care Bachelor's Degree in Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license ACLS and BLS certifications Basic knowledge of regulatory agency requirements Desired Skills:
Master's Degree in Nursing Experience in a team-based, collective bargaining environment Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Case Management Certified Nurse Practitioner Collective Bargaining Critical Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
