Corporate Procurement Director

POSITION SUMMARY


Directs the organization's overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Evaluates past performance data to forecast needs and production scheduling. Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Collaborate with the Project Manager and Finance team to ensure all purchases for unit start ups are meeting timelines and budgets.

Education:


Minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential functions and responsibilities:


???????? Sourcing and streamlining all National food ?(all commodities) & negotiating product cost with manufacturers/vendors to obtain the lowest possible prices


???????? Managing the vetting and correspondence of all new general contractors (GCs) and maintains the list of all approved or rejected GCs


???????? Coordinating with all levels of management and various departments to assess needs for financial information while developing reports, analyses, and tools to meet those needs


???????? Assisting the Financial Planning & Analysis team and other departments in preparing projected and committed investment costs


???????? Serving as direct point of contact for any communication, issues, and discrepancies related to new construction procurement.


???????? Monitor & work with all business units to insure the budgeted food costs are met and days on hand remain at targeted level


???????? Direct and coordinate purchasing functions across all business units.


???????? Through the unit level management ensure units have proper inventory levels of dry goods, meats, fish, poultry, fruits and vegetables are on hand.


???????? Coordinate a just-in-time delivery process for certain high volume and perishable products.


???????? Implement purchasing procedures to ensure effective product cost control.


???????? Evaluate and select vendors that meet quality, price and delivery specification.


???????? Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform basic financial analysis.


???????? Monitor and report cost of goods purchased monthly to ensure budgetary control.


???????? Report item cost of goods purchased compared to projected cost for menu items.


???????? Participates in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:



Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills


???????? Have exceptional ability to manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment


???????? Have a proven track record of elevating and empowering others


???????? Be comfortable presenting to and communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership


???????? Be confident, with the ability to effectively challenge peers and leaders when appropriate


???????? Minimum 5 years of related purchasing & sourcing experience


???????? Knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures


???????? Understanding of airline specifications & breakdown of menus


???????? Knowledge of FDA, USDA & HACCP requirements


???????? Knowledge of spreadsheets, menu costing, and operations


???????? Travel Flexibility is a must


St? Must be familiar with Quickbooks

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
