Overview:
Rockaway Home Care is currently seeking a motivated, self-starter individual to join our Accounts Receivable Department.
Personality Attributes/
Qualifications:
Must be motivated and be able to communicate effectively via email and phone.
Must be detail oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks.
Proficient with smartphones and computers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct follow up calls on claim denials.
Correcting claims and submitting the corrections to the vendor for payment.
Data entry- entering EFT/Checks.
Conduct follow up calls to the insurance companies in regards to denials and researching and resolving the the denials.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
